Applying Regulations
The Vehicles and the vehicle system are regulated by the rules of physics (ruled by the Department of Physic),
the rules of good sense (ruled by the Department of Good Sense), the rules of driving (ruled by the San Andreas Driving Association), and depending on the location or the vehicle type, other rules may apply.
Physic Rules (OOC)
- If a plane is found merged into building(s), in a position where it is impossible to take off and/or found in a crash position, the plane will be destroyed.
Good Sense Rules (OOC)
- It is forbidden for ground and air vehicle to be parked in water.
SA Driving Association Rules
- When on or near a public road:
- It is forbidden to stop a vehicle except:
- When parking a vehicle legally;
- In the case of a emergency vehicle with all the possible lights deployed;
- When moving a vehicle:
- the lights must be turned on at all time;
- the vehicle must not take more than one lane at a time, high speed lane switching is illegal;
- "SPEED LIMIT" signs will be displayed, speed is limited as written in the area behind the sign. Blank sign means no limits ;
- You must follow all signalisations including traffic lights;
- You cannot reverse direction;
- Vehicles flashers must be properyl applied when: vehicle broke down in the street, changing lane and turning;
- At an intersection:
- Everyone should slow down and pay attention to other drivers;
- No one shall enter an intersection while his light is red;
- You cannot reverse direction;
- When parking a vehicle on the public road:
- The vehicle must always be on the side of the road;
- The vehicle must be completely over the sidewalk, as close as possible to the road;
- The vehicle must be placed parallel to the road;
- The vehicle can not be parked if the street have yellow border lines;
- You cannot block any path with your vehicle, including the sidewalk;
- You cannot block any garage door with your vehicle;
- Inside city limits, you cannot park if there is no sidewalk;
- Inside city limits, you cannot park a trailer;
- When parking a vehicle on a private land (including unown land):
- You must officially own the land you park on, except inside a lined parking area;
- When not following the laws:
- If not following the law, the SADA or the authorities of the territory can impound your vehicle;
- If not following the law, the SAPD or the authorities of the territory can arrest you;
- If your vehicle stay impounded for a month(real time), the ownership of the vehicle can be taken from you without warnings;
SA Aviation Association Rules (Aircraft only)
- To operate an aircraft, you must have your own SAAA(card) on you.
LS Cityhall Rules (Los Santos only)
- When parking a vehicle on the public road:
- Trucks in any types or kind cannot be parked on or near the public road;
- Trailers in any types or kind cannot be parked on or near the public road;
- Forklifts cannot be parked on or near the public road;
